These days, the steady stream of new ideas makes it hard for most designers to resist the "cool" of the moment, rather than finding an original idea with staying power. Most of the projects in my portfolio are based on a more universal philosophy— that "everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler." Albert Einstein was talking about physics when he said that, but Einstein's idea also provides the foundation for influential design.
